چکیده
Abstract Enhancing plant nutrition during critical periods of water stress is a paramount objective. As such, this study aims to examine the effects that arise from implementing regimes sensitive growth phases groundnut. Furthermore, we will explore impact applying cobalt and potassium humate individually or in combination, either through foliar application (KH-F) soil amendments (KH-S), mitigate adverse on nutrient accumulation, yield, irrigation use efficiency (Iwue). A field experiment was conducted between 2021 2022 using split-split plot design. In main plots, an additional control full requirement scheme (IR100) implemented, along with three other schemes: first involved 75% development stage (IRD75), second applied flowering till pod (IRF75), third 85% (IR85). subplots, at rates 0 7.5 mg l −1 plants. The sub-sub plots were further divided investigate KH-F KH-S. Plants experienced found be more vulnerable. However, when treated KH-S, there significant improvements yield compared treatment. This effect particularly pronounced under IRF75 scheme. Interestingly, antagonistic relationship observed iron manganese, contrast nutrients. When KH-S combination cobalt, it showed potential enhance various characteristics increase uptake manganese. highest Iwue achieved combined adopting IR85%

Potassium pools equilibration during growth stages of two rapeseed cultivars under drought stress
ABSTRACT- Different soil potassium (K) pools including soluble, exchangeable and non-exchangeable in surface and subsurface soils may be totally used by canola roots at different growth stages under drought conditions. A field experiment was conducted for one growing season (2013-2014) to study K pools changes during growth stages of two rapeseed cultivars under drought. The experiment was arra...
متن کاملSoybean adaptation to water stress at selected stages of growth.
Soybean (Glycine max [L.] Merr. cv Braxton) plants were grown in sandy soil with only natural rainfall (N) or with supplemental irrigation (I). Water-stressed plants grew more extensive root systems, whereas irrigated plants developed larger shoots and smaller root systems. Maximum stomatal apertures were observed at the beginning of each photoperiod. Partial stomatal closure occurred each afte...
متن کاملWater Potential and Stomatal Resistance of Sunflower and Soybean Subjected to Water Stress during Various Growth Stages.
Plants of two varieties of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) and two varieties of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.) were grown in controlled environments and subjected to water stress at various stages of growth. Leaf resistances and leaf water potentials were measured as stress developed. In soybeans the upper leaf surface had a higher resistance than the lower surface at all leaf water potentia...
متن کاملRegulation of the ABA-sensitive Arabidopsis potassium channel gene GORK in response to water stress.
The phytohormone abscisic acid (ABA) regulates many stress-related processes in plants. In this context ABA mediates the responsiveness of plants to environmental stresses such as drought, cold or salt. In response to water stress, ABA induces stomatal closure by activating Ca2+, K+ and anion channels in guard cells. To understand the signalling pathways that regulate these turgor control eleme...
متن کاملGrowth and Yield Components of Wheat under Water Stress of Different Growth Stages
A field experiment was conducted to determine the sensitivity of wheat to water stress and changes in water relations and yield of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) under water stress conditions applied at different growth stages. The experiment comprised of two wheat cultivars and four water stress treatments, maintained by withholding water at tillering, anthesis, and at both stages. Water stress ...
